Local Restaurants Go Green

Several L.A. restaurants are making their establishments more eco-friendly in numerous ways. Hear from Amy Knoll Fraser, co-owner and director of operations for BLD and Grace, both located on Beverly Boulevard, about how her and her husband have worked to make their restaurants environmentally friendly.

Next take a visual journey to Forage in Silver Lake, and see what Eugene Ahn, who manages their neighborhood foraging program, has to say. The restaurant encourages Los Angeles locals to bring in produce from their own gardens to be incorporated in the restaurant’s menu. By using locally grown food, the restaurant is decreasing its negative impact on the environment.
